“You too can join in!”
This is the motto of the large fundraising campaign of the “Stiftung UNESCO – Pro Kinderhilfe e.V.”, which started today in the UNESCO project school Willy-Brandt-Gesamtschule in Munich.
“It is great how the students have shown social commitment with this charity soccer tournament and are thus bringing the children in Brazil closer to their dream of a self-determined life,” emphasize UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Dr. h.c. Ute-Henriette Ohoven and the Patron of Hope of the UNSECO Foundation, national player Jérôme Boateng. All schools and football clubs across Germany are called upon to take part in this fundraising campaign.
A roadshow with which Pro Kinderhilfe e.V. promotes the nationwide campaign is part of the fundraising campaign. The aim of the roadshow is to inform schools and sports clubs about the project and to encourage students and young people to initiate their own fundraising campaign. The school or club with the most original fundraising campaign wins, among other things, exclusive football training with Jérôme Boateng. The sporting goods manufacturer NIKE is offering additional prizes for this campaign.
