Today marks the anniversary of Russia's attack on Ukraine
People all remember very well how a year ago the eastern regions of Ukraine were attacked by the Russian military. The brutality of the attack, war, in Bakhmut, Kiev, Kharkiv and the other cities, the suffering of the people, rubble, injured and dead felt very close. For all, war in Europe is a terrible threat to their human and democratic values.
A year of cruel war, insecurity and fear is behind us, but there is no end in sight to the armed attacks. People and children continue to die.
The YOU Foundation – Education for Children in Need, positions itself against the war, together with the people who are active today in numerous anti-war demos and memorial events, and continues to stand behind the people of Ukraine, of all the many refugees.
Together with you, we can continue to provide support where we can.
Let’s hope together that this further and unnecessary war will soon find peace for the people of Ukraine!
